Job Summary:
In this position, the candidate will be given the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience required in various functions under the guidance of experienced personnel. Comprehensive training will include duties in several departments.
Job Description:
- Training program and meeting participation: participate in a comprehensive training program and meeting schedules that covers various aspects of manufacturing process, including production, quality control, supply chain management, technical support, product development, safety procedures and etc.
- Rotation through department: Rotate through different departments within the manufacturing facility to gain exposure to various functions such as production management, inventory management, operations management, research and development, process improvement and etc.
- Assist in project management: support the head of department (HOD) in implementing projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing quality and optimizing manufacturing processes toward company’s strategy.
- Data analysis & reporting: Collect and analyze data related to each department KPI, identify areas for improvement, and prepare reports to communicate findings and strategic recommendation to management.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to production problems, quality defects, equipment breakdown and other operational challenge that protect the company assets and increase the profitability.
- Familiar with Company Policies and Procedures: Familiar with each operation procedures, company policy & culture, management viewpoint, quality & safety standards to ensure compliance and adherence to the best practices.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production staff, engineers, quality officer, purchasing and logistic team, to ensure smooth coordination and communication across departments
- Leadership development: Taking on leadership roles in projects and receiving feedback and mentorship from supervisor. Lead to implement new project, evaluating the performance and participate in company’s strategic planning.
- Relocation after the management trainee program: Upon completion of this program, candidate will be allocated into a permanent role by strength.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Candidate with 1-2 years working experience in the relevant field are also encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduate from Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree are also welcome.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in Malay, English and Mandarin. (Mandarin-speaking candidates are required to liaise with Mandarin- speaking stakeholders)
